Abstract: Comparison between using the Educational Proficiency Profile (EPP) standardized test and modified Quantitative Literacy and Critical Thinking VALUE rubrics for general education outcome assessment: results showcase the EPP was costly, time consuming, and results were unable to be "validly extrapolated as a measure of students' learning outcomes," (p. 29) whereas the opposite was reported of the VALUE rubrics.
