Abstract: To assess collaboration and similar group work interactions, author combined elements from the Teamwork and Creative Thinking VALUE rubrics to formulate own rubric that was used to assess reflective journaling of students participating in student-led production of “The Mail Order Bride.” Results led to redesigning assignment prompt and sharing modified rubric with students throughout course to ensure transparent expectations.
